RP 06: DO YOU THINK IT'S OKAY TO GET A HAIRCUT WITH 7 WEEKS TO GO?
I like the length (it's at the middle of my back). But my layers have grown out. I'm doing half up for the wedding with curls and i'm afraid since the layers are pretty much gone that the curls will just look like a big afro cause they'll be sitting right on top of each other! Is this crazy? Should I leave it alone or just go to the salon and hope they keep the length and just add layers? What would you do?

I would get a hair trial first. See what she can do with your hair now, then if she thinks that it could use new layers then go for it.

a good stylist will only take a quarter of an inch off, at most. i completely trust the girl who does my hair and i'm going for a cut today. 3 months but still.
so i say yes, go and be very very specific about what you want

I have very long hair myself so I feel your anxiety about a hair cut before the big day. I would be very very specific with the hair dresser telling her exactly how much you want off and no more. I think if it's even a little too short in 7 weeks it will grow out. Good Luck

I'm actually getting my hair trimmed three weeks before the wedding so it looks fresh. The woman who's doing my hair said that was fine. Maybe I can see if you wanted to add layers that might be tricky (is that what you were asking) but a regular cut should be fine.

I'd say def. get it at least trimmed so it will be as healthy as possible for the big day!!!

Hi date twin!! I'm in the same situation. My hairdresser said to come in the first week in June for a haircut and color this way it grows in a little. She suggested I just keep letting it grow until then...
