rp 07: Do you HAVE to wear a slip under your gown?

I don't want any additional poufiness - is there any other reason i'd wear a slip?

My dress is heavy satin and not at all see-through....

when you walk the dress could go between your legs. there is also usually cinoline under the dress which is stratchy.

oooh ok - i get it now. I didn't notice that when I was wearing it in the salon for an hour , but I wasn't really moving too much. I guess I'll just have to try it on with a slip

just try on your dress and walk around a bit. that way you know what YOU need.

I think it depends on your dress. I didn't want a lot of poof but when I tried the dress on w/out one it didn't look nice....my salon was able to find me a slip that wasn't poofy.

I am going to try to depoof my dress as much as possible. I'm even having the train taken off. But I know that I will wear just a regular slip bc I hate stuff sticking to me.
