I was wondering if anyone could give some info on hotels in the Nassau area- Im from eastern Suffolk but wedding is in Sea Cliff (glen cove/oyster bay area) I need to figure out rooms for guests, and besides Garden City Hotel and Glen Cove Mansion, I cant think of any that aren't shady...any help appreciated!! Thanks ladies!!

I had the same problem. We're getting married at the Crescent Beach Club and we decided on Marriot Inn in Plainview, since there really isn't anything up there. Maybe the East Norwich Inn?
I'm not from LI, so i apologize if I'm totally off geography-wise, but I definitely recommend the Huntington Hilton. I blocked off a bunch of rooms with them a few weeks ago and they were very nice and helpful - plus I've heard that the hotel is beautiful and well run.
Maybe google hotels in that area and see what pops up. I can't see that a Holiday Inn or Hilton or something like that would be shady. Especially in that area.

My guests are staying at the Uniondale Marriot and the Holiday Inn on Old Country Road.

There's a Hilton Garden Inn in Westbury, the Wingate Inn in Garden City and the LI Marriott in Uniondale.
The Wingate seems the closest to Sea Cliff though. A lot of brides on this site have blocked rooms there.
