RP BHBFor the Brides to be and the Brides that are already married...

what made you not choose to have videography?? did you regret it after your wedding??

I noticed that quite a few brides have chosen not to have video. Personally, I'd prefer to relive my wedding day by watching it over & over & over & over & over.. well you guys get the idea...

Was it money that helped make the decision on not having it??

Personally I would not even think twice about not getting it. Pictures of course are a way to remember, but Video is just the real thing and I can't wait to watch it and re-live that day over and over again and share it years from now with family and friends.

Might sound morbid also, but it is defiantly a way to remember those that might not be here 10-20 years from now (Grandparents, etc...) and I want my kids to be able to see it and keep it for their kids one day.

I'm not getting a video. I have a feeling I may regret it. There were many factors to our decision. Yes, money was one. They are sooo expensive and I understand why they would be. We are having pics done with Twelfth Night. The way that they lay out the photos on disc, to us, was almost just as good as a video. We got a second photographer instead to some Photojournalistic.

If anyone knows a photographer for $1000.00 let me know and I would be more than happy to check them out!

I was actually tossed on this there were a lot of issues money, would we really watch it, some people were saying to us that if we have a great photographer we wouldnt need a video...but when I went to see the photographer this week she made some points ~ there will be parts of your wedding you will not see, if you have children they can watch it (the photographers granddaughter has watched it her parents video numerous times and always asked can I see mommy & daddy get married...She knows the songs that are in the video by heart & was singing them, made me melt) After thinking about it deep down I know I will definately watch it & truly wanted to have the video! So to me I will just work alittle harder and save alittle bit better to get the video...

no question about it! Sure pictures capture the moment but the video relives it IMO......

I have a question, IS video really important or is it that its tradtion (thats what we used to seeing) to have a wedding video why we would get one.

BTW Video came with my photography package so I have it but i wonder to myself

Well... Originally I was NOT going to get the video... I thought it was going to be really cheesy and I would never look at it.

Then I was really surprised when FH was absolutely adamant to get it... We went to a few places and I actually am SOOOOOOOOO happy we are getting it!!! It is alot better then what you think it looks like...

I am excited now for it!

i cant speak for everyone else but to me i think its important... we have been taping every single vacation or important event (graduation, parties) and its nice to watch it every so often.... however, i would not spend a load of cash on it..... the edits and graphics are not important to me as long as he or she has captured the day throughout im fine!

Originally I wasn't going to do it, but then I thought it would be nice to have my parents & FH's on video...all my grandparents are already gone and I have no video of them at all..i just thought it would be nice to look back at everyone at such a happy time...not happy about spending the extra money but I'm sure I won't regret it.
