So the wedding is in 38 days and its not happening....

How did you inform people?? Phone calls, letters, ect???

I would like to also include that I will be hosting a cocktail fundraiser and ask people to still join me on the date and time for this...how do I do this??

I would send a new invitation style letter - DIY, just buy plain white or whatever color invitations from Staples or Michaels - with something to the effect of:


The September 23, 2007 wedding of BRIDE NAME and GROOM NAME has been cancelled due to personal reasons. Please respect their privacy during this difficult time.

Please note, however, that BRIDE NAME will be holding a COCKTAIL FUNDRAISER for ____________ on that date at the same location.
