I went to Laser Plus in Bellmore and had my teeth whitened. It was $100.

I've heard great things about about Go Smile... the lady in Sephora said it doesn't hurt your teeth and in Luckymag it showed they were the best for results. I am going to try it soon.

I went there too and had it done. I think they did the zoom thing.
I personally didnt notice a difference when i got out of there. My teeth werent sensative afterwards.
I been using the crest white strips and DO notice a difference since I been using them.

I've been using the Crest Whitening strips and I definitely see a big big difference.

my whitening was only like 150 bucks-- he gave me the gel with these special trays that they measure your mouth to... then, i wore them at night. you could, if you want to avoid sensitivity, just wear them for an hour or two at night while watching tv or something and then take them off. i noticed a difference in ONE DAY- it was amazing. it made my teeth like SHADES lighter. i used the gel until it was all gone (everyday for about 2 weeks) and the results have lasted-- it's been almost a year since i did it-- i'm going to do a little refresher before the wedding and i'm g2g.

my doctor said i really didn't need the laser and since sometimes it's pricey and the results vary- i just did this and it worked out great.

hope that helps

Here is a before and after lol i think you can figure which is which!! LOL! I never had 'bad' teeth- always straight, no cavities- just for some reason, they were not that white-- i don't smoke or drink coffee- so i don't know why but the whitening made a huge difference.

GL!

I made Brite Smile appointment for a month or two before the wedding... I was SO excited!

When I went there, the woman basically told me that my teeth weren't going to get much whiter, and that it would really be a waste of my money. So, needless to say, I didn't do it.

I did one of the tray thingies that MrsDaniRella was talking about -- back when I was like in 10th grade, and it worked wonders... and lasted a really long time.

I also ended up buying the brite smile at home kit -- comes with mouthwash, toothpaste, and these whitening pens. it seems to be working too

I did Brite Smile here in the city and I noticed a difference. I had pretty white teeth to begin with but it made them look briter. The pain and sensitivity I had after the procedure for a few hours was not fun though

I did Zoom and it hurt so much afterwards. It was the worst pain I've ever felt in my entire life and it lasted from 1pm until 2 am. After that it didn't hurt anymore and my teeth are not sensitive now. I don't recommend zoom. Do a google search for zoom and tooth pain and you will find blogs about people who experienced a similar pain. From what I read this is not a common reaction and very few people suffer from tooth pain afterwards but if I had to do it over again I would just do the trays.

I had the zoom whitening done before, thank god I did it two months before my wedding, it hurt like hell......no joking......the pain lasted for over two weeks straight, the pain was really that intense.....Thats all I can say. I had such a bad reaction to it, could hardly eat for almost two weeks unless it was soft and my teeth and gums were just way way too sensative., I investigated this for a long time and most of the people had good results with it, but some had the real bad pain I had. They did say it was like three shades whiter, basically as white as white gets, but I didnt see it that way, I wanted whiter....

Did I notice a major difference, No, not at all, my teeth were pretty close to white to begin with but I was looking for was that real stark white. I didnt get it..
Is it worth it, I dont think so, un less you have really discolored teeth, then of course you will notice it so much more. Every person is so different as no two shades of teeth match one another, so they say anyway. I also believe crest white strips is the way to go, I used them on and off for years and had see much better results with them and its a lot cheaper, i spent 225.00 on my zoom. Money not spent well at all......
Good luck with your whitening

Before my teeth were a little bit yellow. They are now about 5 shades lighter. They are not completely white, but definitely much better. Everyone is different. Also, if you have caps/bonding, it will not lighten those teeth. It did not hurt and my gums did not burn. It takes about 30 minutes.

Mine were about 5 shades lighter. Not completely white, but definitely a difference. I guess everyone has different results.
