How many candles are considered too many candles at your reception dinner? I was just thinking about this, this morning. I have oval tables and want 5 pillar candles to the right and left of my CP's. Thats 10 candles on each table x 22 tables. Thats 220 candles surrounding the room. Is this way too much? I dont want to burn down my hall, lol

Re: RP: Candle Question?
that is a bit much, i think jennie had 4 or 5 around each centerpiece and that looked good, and she had HUUUGE CENTERPIECES. we are just doing three b/c our centerpieces are much smaller.

Re: RP: Candle Question?
Too many candles.
Remember that there is a lot of stuff on the tables, between the plates, silverware, glasses, s&p shakers, sugar, creamer, table number, are you putting menus ?, I put my purse on the table, some put their cameras too.
If you want that many around the CP, how about smaller votives, maybe then only 6 to 8 around the CP

Yeah, I would do votives also. There is alot of stuff on the tables, esp. if your having menus, favors, etc.
