RP: crest hollow CC
I went to a wedding there yesterday afternoon... about 140 people with ceremony... and it was wonderful! I am very picky about weddings, but before ceremony they hosted some danishes coffee and juices in the cocktail hour upstairs. Ceremony was short sweet and to the point ( which is what we all love!)
Cocktail hour was great, I have to say the food is fantastic. My only observation was that there as only one bar, and we had to wait in line for about 10 minutes before we could get drinks... dont like tthat at all.. and i only say one girl passing around a tray of mozzarella sticks, she only was on the floor maybe once... so make sure you tell them that you want people heavy passing trays of foood tooo.
then reception, we were in the rroom with the sunken dance floor s(dont know which room but it looked out over the pool) the room was very nice, a little broken up top be honest, but still very nice. Food was AMAZgin! Appetizer was a mini chicken pot pie in a phyllo pastry shell.. delicious and creative. salad was great and the dressing was absolutely delicious. Entree was ok not outstanding, but by then i had had soo much otther food i didnt even really eat it. Dessert was great, cake, pastries and vanilla with chocolate swirl ice cream...mmm...
I have to say that the only thing that drove me a little nuts was the bars, they have people standingg behind pushcarts. serving beer into 7 oz glasses poured out of 40s.. not crazy aabout that, and one of the bars was positioned directly in frontt of the head table so the people in the back couldnt see the bride and groom because the line for the bar was in the way..
overall it was great.. the foood was amazingg and the place is beautiful. You have nothing tto worry about ladies!
