So after changing our mind 100 times about our honeymoon i think maybe we decided on a cruise. But now I am trying to decide what cruise line, we have been on Royal Caribbean which was ok & my parents went on Norwegian which they said was great. Does anyone have any suggestions on which cruise line we should look into? I really want to figure this out and get it booked so any advice would help. TIA!!!

Hi! I've only been on 2 cruises before (1 w/Carnival & 1 w/Norwegian), but I have to agree that Norwegian was great. We loved the Freestyle dining because it felt like a date every night (we did the French restaurant for 1 of the formal nights & it was really, really romantic & special). I'd highly recommend NCL.
My FH has been on 13 (yes 13!) cruises before & I think he's done all of the major U.S. cruise lines and his fave 3 are Celebrity, Royal Caribbean & NCL...He said that the service he's had on Celebrity has been just phenomenal each time he went on them and the RC & NCL were close contenders. In any event, if it's between RC & NCL I honestly don't think that you can go wrong! HTH

we went on a honeymoon cruise it was SO GREAT....very relaxing. We decided on an upscale line for the honeymoon just to do something different. We chose Holland America and loved it. The ship is beautiful and the food and service were amazing..The one drawback (we didnt see it as one but some might) was that the average age on the ship was 60ish. To us we didnt care we wanted a more romantic type thing. I have cruised on both royal and celebrity and both were great!!! Let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy your cruise honeymoon!!!! I miss mine and we are doing an anniversary cruise in December haaaaaa OH and whatever you do try to get a suite cause they really treat you like kings that way!

I've been on 2 RC cruises and loved both of them. I doubt I'll use another cruise line, but JMO. I've heard Carnival is a younger crowd if that's what you are looking for.

I've been on two Costa Cruises and absolutly loved them. They are one of the more affordable lines, too, if you're on somewhat of a budget. I went to the eastern caribbean both times and am looking into their mediterranean cruises for our hm. FM me if you want more info

I cruise a lot and I can give you my opinion on the lines I have traveled on... Carnival is nice Celebrity is very nice RC wasn't crazy about Princess is very nice

i've gone on RC and LOVED IT!! and next week i'm going on a cruise on carnival and hopefully wil love that also.. and then in september i'm going on a disney cruise (but thn again i have a 7yr old and i'm a disny fanatic) all that being said.. i think u'll be fine with any of them.. the carnival i feel caters to a younger crowd, so depending on how much u enjoy being aroudn spring break college students and when u'r wedding is.. i'd tred lightly with that one..
i've never done norweigian but my problem with them.. is that they charge u for dinner.. it may be a nominal fee but to me.. on a cruise.. i dont' EVER want to pay to eat at a restaurant. don't care if it means i have to eat the same time each night..

I've only been on Carnival and Royal Caribbean personally (I preferred Carnival) but I've heard really good things about Princess and Holland America from other couples. Princess and Holland are more midscale so you'll probably get more peronalized service. Also, if you want to have a real luxury experience the Queen Mary sails out of Brooklyn and occasionally you can get a really low price to the Caribbean.

we took almost all cruise line that goes to Caribbean and we preferred Royal Caribbean.

We went on a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas for our honeymoon, and we LOVED it! You will not be dissapointed!

FH and I have been on Royal Caribbean and loved it!! FH's parents have been on so many cruises and so many cruise lines and they've said they liked Royal Caribbean more than the others
