i don't think it tarnishes... DH has a titanium band, and it still looks new almost a year later.... BUT, it can't be resized because its such a strong metal- so if he were ever to need a new size, he would have to get a totally new ring.... that didn't mater to us, becasue DH was in love with the look of the titanium, and he works a lot with his hands, so he need something that would hold up well... but its something you might want to think about...

Yes, my FH works alot with his hands too that's why it's Perfect for him. I just didn't want to get him a ring that will tarnish in a couple of months. It's great to know that your DH's ring still looks new.

Does he wear it everyday?

Okay, got the scoop... it doesn't tarnish as it is 'inert.' It can only be resized by 1/4 to 1/2 of a size through shaving. It can be cut off with difficulty - as per a website that sells titanium rings.

Whether it's true OR not, a jewerler told me that it's actually really hard to make Titanium shine. It will lose it's shine after a while much sooner than white gold.

FH's best friend has had his titanium band...for about 2.5 years...looks like new still. FH got an titanium band too because of how much he like his best friends...so I think its a safe purchase.
