RP fr 06: Married at City Hall! Makeup Karen Abitol

I was once an 06 bride-to-be. Now I'm an 07 bride!

We had changed our plans and decided to get married at City Hall in Manhattan just last week! I was so happy to do this after lots of stress about how to get married. So I bought a civil-ceremony dress, had Karen Abitol (an LIW vendor) do my makeup (no time for a trial!), and I decided to do my own hair.

The civil ceremony was fun -- the Officiant was very jolly. My parents were sweet and happy to be there.

Then, DH and I drove to an inn on the Delaware River for a mini-honeymoon.

DH and I are so very happy to be married!

I haven't chatted on the 07 board, but I hope all of you wonderful ladies have happy weddings!

Congrats!! You look gorgeous! I was so touched by you going straight to city hall- and seeing pictures of your DH looking at you...how special that must have been to have those moments! Makes me realize how caught up in the details we all get- but it's all about marrying the love of your life!!
