What would you do if you got your e-pics back and were not happy with them? I think they are real basic photography 101 shots. I am so upset and I don’t know what to do. I already signed the contract which was more money than most but I really took a liking to the photographer.
I just thought with their experience (my photographer in particular) that I would have AMAZING pictures. Little things like placing us right in the sun so we are squinting, not making us smile, not posing my face so I don’t have a double chin, cheesey poses etc is what is bothering me. I have committed to spend a lot of money and truthfully I don’t love one out of them all. The things I question are truly the basics to “good” picture taking.
What do I do if this happens with my day of pics as well? Maybe I am being picky but I really expected super amazing artsy pictures not basic everyday generic shots.

I fear this will have happening to me as well...but I think I am just freaking myself out...you might want to weigh the cost of cancelling the photographer, and look at what it would cost for another one...i'm sorry this happened to you...I wish you the best!

Did you speak to your photographer about this? Would you mind telling us who you are using? This is one of my fears as well, even though I'm using a very reknowned photographer... what if it's an 'off' day?
Maybe your photographer was having an 'off' day? Maybe you can ask for a re-shoot of your e-pics?

I would tell your photographer your concerns. However, as has been pointed out many times before we are our own worst crtics.

I just changed my photographer with 2 months before my wedding. I was afraid he was going to send someone else in his place the day of the wedding. I feel so much better and am happy with the decision. I would speak to him about your concerns and see if you can take them again. If they dont come out better, i would change so you can be happy with your pics!!

Like someone else said, i'm sure you're being really hard on yourself. All brides (to be) look good in pictures...it's hard not to when you're so happy! FH and I hate cheesy posed pictures too...our parents wanted us to get an engagement announcement picture taken at JC Penny's...it was horrible. We looked awful and like we didn't know each other. A few days later, FH and i went to a local carnival and took a candid snapshot while we were on the ferris wheel. It came out tons better because it wasn't forced (not to mention FREE - except for the price of the ride, of course!)

JennandPhil827... I think I had read from one of your recent posts that Leli did your e-pics. So, did change TO Leli or FROM him to someone new? Just curious. We are using Leli on August 12 and are doing our e pics soon.
