RP from 07-Veil Question

I want a simple veil- no embellishment or anything. My mom really wants me to have a blusher to walk down the aisle- and I wasn't thrilled abou the idea, but now I am considering it.


The problem is- I don't want a stiff tulle veil...I was looking more at the silk tulle and silk chiffon veils- BUT- wouldn't they look creepy draped over my face? They aren't as sheer as regular bridal tulle.

I just cant see myself with any amount of poof- and I don't want the veil all stuck in weird angles because of the stiffness. I like the way the softer material flows.

Does anyone have any suggestions or pics of silk tulle/chiffon with a blusher? TIA!!

i have a very simple one layer veil that's not stiff at all. the blusher i got with it (my bridal salon threw it in) is detachable (it velcros on) and i'll be taking it off right after the ceremony. it's stiffer than my actual veil, but you don't really notice it because it's not gonna be on too long. maybe you could ask your salon/veil person about something like that? at least then you're not ruining the look of your actual veil.

p.s. - i wasn't too thrilled about the blusher at first either, but it made my dad all teary and it is kinda sweet so it grew on me.
