Has anyone stayed in this resort? If so, how was your experience? I'm thinking about booking our HM there.

We had some family members go there for their honeymoon last June, they loved the place, they explored the ruins and had a blast. They met a few couples from Jersey and on the whole they had a great time. They said it was hot in June but on the water there was a nice breeze. When they checked in the hotel had them on the ground floor but the reception desk gladly moved to a more private area of the hotel. I hope this helps!

I loved everything except there wasn't a real beach. So if you are a beach person, I wouldn't suggest it.
It is adults only, all-inclusive good restaurants and people. We had great excursions included in our package. The pool is fun but I don't think I would go back. It is about 1 1/2 hours from the airport and a two hour ride from downtown Cancun. Playa Del Carmen is about a 20 minute ride.
Going to Mexico and not have a beautiful beach was upsetting. We prefer the Dominical Repubic without a doubt. Better beaches and night life.
