i wouldn't do a cardbox for the eparty.... in theory, the eparty should just be a celebration of your engagement, with no obligation for gifts. i'm sure most people will bring gifts, but i know for us, we got mostly gifts off our registry (money also, but mostly gifts)
We did not register yet, so I expect some gifts to be money or gift cards. Also, I have a table set up with all kinds of picture frames. I was thinking of making the box, without the slit in the top, using velcro to keep in on and then just opening it when I need to put gifts in.
My e-party is June 16th and we are not registering until after the e-party. And yes we have a card box, I am sure 95% of my guests will bring cash instead of a present and I need some where to keep em right?
That's what I figured too. I just wanted to make sure that I am not being rude.
Thats so funny because me and FH saw a really cute card box last nite and we were wondering if we shoould have one at our eparty or if thats rude.
