Looked at a vineyard for the reception? I know a lot of people use Raphael's but has anyone thought of the other vineyards on the North Fork? Martha Clara, Olde Field, Bedells, etc. Just looking to share ideas and stuff.
I looked into Martha Clara - Lessings was the house caterer when I looked (last August/Sept, I believe). The price was nice, but I wasn't comfortable with my options for a winter wedding. A summer wedding there would be absolutely fabulous.
Weddings at the vineyards are gorgeous! I went to one a year or two back in the summer. It was stunning!
Thanks guys! I just got the information packet from Martha Clara and the price is right. We're going to take a look at in a couple weeks (so excited!). But if we don't use their list of approved vendors they say that you have to have your vendors 'meet their approval.' How does that work? are ppl generally turned away?
I don't know about them, but at my hall that just meant that they needed to have insurance and follow thier guidelines (no smoke machines, etc.)
