HONEST OPINIONS, please! Tom the travel agent suggested it for the honeymoon and I'm getting mixed reviews. People say the resorts are amazing and so is the food, but the town is bad....
that's where I went.... it waws GREAT!!!! you have nothing to worry about ... it's perfectly safe. we stayed at Sunset at the Palms and LOVED it! (also chepaer and less crowded than Sandals.

Tom suggested that for us too....I just had no desire to go to Jamaica...due to the mixed reviews. So, yeah, I'm no help....

We are going to Couples San Souci. It has almost no bad reviews on tripadvisor and won best AI and best service awards. I Never researched Negril, but definitely check out tripadvisor. I hears great things about Couples in general though.
One of the reasons we chose San Souci is b/c there were no bad reviews of locals coming on the property to peddle their ..uuuhhmm goods. (the goods of the smoking kind- lol)
