RP from 08: What are you doing that is 'fun' or 'different' for you wedding?
I really wanted to do something fun and a little different for our wedding. Like - I contemplated doing a cigar roller or a photobooth, but FH wasn't into either one.
Any suggestions?

I want both of those too!!
the photo booth is probably way out of our budget but I am going to look into the cigar roller for the CH as a surprise for FH

photobooth was around 1000 for the cheapest I saw, cigar rollers are around 800 from what I saw.
Its not event he money, he just doesn't like idea

haha i told FH that i wanted a cigar roller... and he told me no... then i asked about a photobooth.. and that is a really cute idea.. but they will have camera on the table.. lol i'm getting shot down too!!.... what about a chocolate fountain? i know i'm having that....

We're having viennese so I figured that was gluttonous enough w/o the chocolate fountain!
He's really into baseball / football, big beer drinker so he won't get amused by a martini bar, he's really that typical 'guy'. I love it, don't get me wrong lol, I just can't think of anything that he would really be into.

I don't know if this would totally clash with your theme but i thought these were such cute favors...they are from GettingHutched's wedding...she did a Yankee themed wedding that I loved.
here are the favors...(she filled them with peanuts or cracker jacks)

We're getting married at Vineyard Caterers and something 'different' that we're doing is a wine tasting at the cocktail hour. FH and I were engaged in Napa and we love wine so we thought it was a nice personal touch!

Those are really nice!! I read her review and I liked it a lot! We would have to do it Mets, of course!
