RP from 09: IPOD HELP

My parents computer crashed a couple of weeks ago and I had my itunes on there. I want to set up my itunes in my laptop now but Im afraid that when I plug in my ipod into the laptop Im going to lose all the music that i have on it. Is there anyway to stop this from happening?

it won't automatically remove all of your music, but you will need to get the songs off of the iPod. you need to research online, but I know there are devices that copy songs off of ipods...

I think it costs some money though...
