RP from BHB: Anyone feeling creative? Need help with wording for ....

Our adults only rehearsal dinner ...

We're not actually rehearsing, so we had planned on calling it a 'welcome dinner'

The wording can be cute, but it doesn't have to be!

This is just to put with the save the dates (we are sending a little packet), not the actual invitaitons ... just looking for like 1 line to explain what we have planned ... something like this:

Friday, November 9th
WELCOME DINNER
Join the Adults for Dinner and Drinks as we Roast the Bride and Groom on the Eve of their Wedding
Details to Follow

Any ideas?!!

A chance for the adults to mix and mingle
and roast the bride and groom
on their last evening of being single

I think the second one is really cute but do you mean toast instead of roast?

Best friends will soon become one
You're invited to join the fun
We're gonna drink and celebrate
You're presence will make it really great

Really really cheesy! I was just fooling around with it! I love stuff like this!

found this one on http://www.invitationconsultants.com/samplewording.aspx?p_subcategory=192
its a little cheesy but i think its cute.

Tyler popped the question
and April said 'Yes'
All the planning is over
from the hall to the dress.
Only one thing remains
for this day to be great
'Practice makes Perfect'
September 25th is the date
We'll practice the ceremony,
and iron out the kinks
Then it's off to the Peachtree Cafe
for some dinner and drinks!

Please join the bride and groom
to be
at 7 o'clock
St. Mary's Chu

That's fine if you state in the invite...adults only! It would sound bad if you said 'No kids'
