I just came from Flower Michelle and John was sooo nice, really wonderful.
I forgot to mention that I was a LIW bride....in your experience FM brides & flower vendor hunters....would that have gotten me alittle discount? He came in so close to my budget....but he is also the first florist that i have seen.
Thoughts??? Ways to negotiate or cut flower costs also greatly appreciated!!!

I went to FM too, but met with Barbara! I LOVED her. I didn't say I was a LIW Bride, I'm not sure if that matters. The price came in a little over budget, but I could tell she was right there with me in my vision for the day. I haven't checked out any other places but did get quotes, she may be a little higher, but I think I'm going with them anyway!! I am the WORST at negotiating..and I managed to get a few extras thrown in, no money taken off tho..sorry!

Definately tell them what your budget is and they will work with you!

I always tell them I am a liw bride doesn't really seem to go anywhere which is fine with me.. fm seemed to work with the budget i had anyway so it wasn't such a big deal,

I booked with FM and also met with Barbara.. it came up in the conversation that I was a LIW bride (I was saying how I found out about them from this site and also FH friend who also booked with them). It got me a few xtras I think compared to other florists I have visited.
