RP from BHB: HELP! My hotel is booked solid ALREADY!
I'm freaking out! I reserved a block of rooms at the East Norwich Inn for 7/13, and just found out they are all taken, and the rest of the hotel is booked solid!!!!
What's worse is, FH's father didn't get a room! He just called and was told there were no more. The rest of FH's family got there's, as did people from my side.....he's the only one! (That I know of, not sure if other random people need rooms - but FFIL is all I care about right now)
Anyone getting married in that area (Swan Club ladies?), what hotels are you using? Any recommendations? I don't even know if I can find openings this close to the date.
The manager said she would know on Tuesday if it'd be possible to open any rooms up - so keep your fingers crossed!!!! In the meantime, I'll continue to stress out.

My fingers are crossed for you. In the mean time I would contact your RH and see what other hotels are in the area that they could recommend.

I am using the Swan Club - however I am not using those hotels due to the price - Hope everything works out for you!

Does another wedding have a block right now? If so, rooms might open up when that block is released. This just happened to my friend getting married in July. I waited too long and the hotel was booked so I booked with another hotel down the block for a more expensive rate (ugh!). Sure enough, the original hotel released the block for another wedding yesterday and my friend got a room.

Dealing with the same problem, at the same hotel!!! My mom said there's a small hotel nearby called 'The Tides.' It's in Bayville. Maybe try that one? HTH!
