RP from BHB: Lighting Question

Because I know some girls here will be doing lights:
I wanted to have our DJ do some lighting. Maybe some soft pink lights and also pink spotlights for the dance floor. The problem is I'm getting married in the afternoon and my hall has ceiling to floor windows and I don't know if it will look right.

Anyone here with a day wedding doing lighting? Anyone here attended a day wedding where they had lighting? Did it look right?

Ummm... I would check out the room during the day at the same time you plan to have your wedding, just to see how bright the room really is. It may still look fine with the lights dimmed out and everything. HTH

I can't really picture it, although I'm sure that the lighting will still be seen. I would ask the RH and the people doing the lighting..I'm sure they've dealt with it before and can maybe show you pictures or give you some suggestions.
