RP from BHB...our Flowergirl dresses..what do u think?
We finally picked our flowergirl dresses. They are Mori lee and they will be white with a wine sash to match the bridal party. Im not 100% crazy for the puffy bustled layer which I was told we could remove if we wanted. They look a lot better on, but I would like opinions please!!

I don't like the bustled layer. Looks like cheap fabric, for one thing, and it's, well, puffy. My flowergirl dress--ordered today, yay!--is quite plain. This is pretty much it, although it's going to have a navy sash--it ties into a big bow in the back.

The dress is cute but I really don't like the bustled layer. My flower girls are wearing ivory with a wine colored sash to match my girls.

Phyllis told us we could either remove the layer all together or just take the bustles out and leave it as the top later..its a net/tulle type material, but it has embroidery on it. If i took the top layer off all together, u would loose the embroidery on the top...I'm undecided...I figured i'd see when the dresess came in in their size. Keep in mind, the pic makes it look horrible, it really does look better in person.

As long as it doesn't cost you anything, see how it looks when it does come in. I think it looks like it would be a very pretty dress without the layer. It's amazing, though, how many dresses look totally different in person than on their websites. I saw dresses in salons that I loved in person and looked them up later and realized I never would have bothered if I had seen the photo first. My own wedding gown looks kinda blah on the website, and amazing in person. Well, I bought it, right?
So, go with how you feel. But, there's so many cute flowergirl dresses out there I'm sure you'll find something if this one doesn't work out.
