It was a whole show about children who were proved miracles.... Doctors said they'd never walk, talk, live, etc and she had them all on her show.
Anyway, there was this story on a little boy named Elliot how had Tricemy and the doctors said he'd never live past birth. Well, he did and his father made him the following video (IT'S A TEAR JERKER) and my mom and I were sobbing like babies watching it.
The strength this little boys parents have is admirable, I don't know I would have had as much optomisim as they did.
Anyway, here is the video. And if you haven't thanked whoever you pray to for your wonderful life yet today, you might think about doing that now.

How awesome of that family to just capture every moment they had with him. On the show, Elliot's mom said, 'I promised myself I wouldn't cry while he was here, I would have plenty of time to do that after he was gone'

i know, they just captured every moment they could with him and didn't waste time being sad. they are amazing parents in my book!

I watched this yesterday... The whole show seriously made me cry, but once they played this video, I BALLED!! It was so touching. Eliot's parents were so unbelievably strong throughout his short life. It's so easy to become depressed after giving birth to an ill child, and let that consume your life... but they didn't let that happen at all.

You are so right. Sometimes we all just dwell on the bad and what we don't have, they had joy in every day their sick little boy woke up...

ughh i saw that last night and sobbed like a baby - i thought it was soo sweet that they celebrated everyday as his birthday, it was cute when they had cakes for his '30th birthday' or '60th birthday' - and i loved how they said that eliot would have a new baby brother or sister - that theyre keeping his memory alive so strongly
