RP fromBHB: Anyone been to the Divi in Aruba?

I had stayed at the Divi in Aruba 2 summers ago. I went with my family and FH- not on a HM.

However- I loved it there. It is right on the beach, which is gorgeous. The pool is nice and big and there are 2 bars right next to it. You can eat at any resturant at the Divi or at the Tamaran. Which is in walking distance of the Divi. The Tamaran is the resort next to the Divi which I like the Divi better (but they are sister resorts so you can go in and out of both the Divi and Tamaran).

The Divi's food was pretty good. I just didn't like the pizza lol. There were a lot of honeymooners the summer I was there. However, just remember it isnt a couples resort so there will be little children around and in the pool.

I haven't been but I know a few people who have and they all liked it. We didn't go there for our HM for two reasons:
1-not couples only
2-inconsistant reviews on tripadvisor.com...for our HM I wanted perfection *guaranteed*!

I was there two years ago and it was a very popular honeymoon spot. I didn't see any children the week I was there (not sure if it's a couples only resort)

The beach is AMAZING!! That's the best part of the hotel. It's on a private beach that they share with the Tamajan. Food is good, and only 5 minutes from the town. It's def a great hotel for your honeymoon!!
