RP - How much $$ is too much for BP to pay for shoes?

I REALLY LIKE THESE!!! The blue for me and the orange for BP. BUT theyre $92.95!! Is that too much to ask the BP to spend on shoes?

Im having them wear black tea length dresses, and in their own style so they CAN rewear them or just wear something they own...

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

please dont make any halloween references!

I think its a little to much to spend on shoes.. however did they all pay for the black dresses?
also can all the bridesmaids wear shoes like that?

I replied on the other thread (BHB)... but I'll say it again - way too much to expect them to spend just on shoes.

I agree-way too much $$$especially for something that will never be worn again...can you do a dye-able shoe? that way they can pick their own heel height and you can just tell them the colors?

I'd have to agree with the other girls. That is way way too much money to ask them to spend on shoes - especially shoes that they'll most likely never wear again.

thats waaaay too much. To be honest, I didnt even tell my girls they had to wear any shoe -- I told them to either wear a shoe they already had, or to go buy whatever they could afford. These girls are spending $$ on the dress, their hair, the shower, the bachelorette party, etc. I think asking them to pay anything for shoes is crazy. But thats JMHO.

I have to agree completely.

they're cute, they really are, but you couldn't PAY me enough to wear those - I'd break an ankle and have blisters the size of my whole foot by the time the ceremony was over - never mind the reception!

I'm sure they're really great shoes, but it's just a bit too much to ask... and unless you know for sure that all of your bms are into those kinds of shoes and wear that kind of heel... you might have some problems.

I agree. If youre set on these shoes why not give it to them as their BM gift? I think thats a realy good idea.

very cute shoes, but i agree with the others...too much to spend.

also, what if they are not as comfortable for some ladies as others? or if some don't like a heel that is so narrow and high? when it came to the shoes, i felt like i was asking enough of them as a BM as it is, and to ask them to wear specific shoes would be too much. i just said 'make sure they're silver' and that was it. case closed...they loved it

nah most of em can wear whatever lil black dress they have at home - so really the only expense would be shoes. The only one paying for their own dress would be my cousin - and for her i'd buy them.

BTW i didnt think that if i picked out a shoe or a couple shoe styles would be asking my BMs too much since im letting them pick out their own dresses.

That's a little expensive for shoes... you could try looking for similar styles at DSW or Target

well if theyre not purchasing dresses than no $100 isnt too much since its the only expense... but those look uncomfy, have you tried them on yet? I personally would wear the most comfy shoes I could if I was a BM [im the one that always ends up with dirrrty @ss feet by the end of the night bc my feet are so sensitive and i have to rip them off]

but hey- like they say- 'its your day, only happens once' and im sure that you'd buy whatever shoes the bride wants if you were in the opposite situation right?
