RP: I need help w/makeup PLEASE (past brides please help too)

I posted on 06 this situ. Ive had 3 m/u trials and i booked Mia which was my 3rd trial. I liked iot in 'real life' but when i got the pics back- YUCK!!!

Im truly in need of a makeup artist. Maybe someone from a dept store? MAC? Please help

post your pics and name/contact info.

try some more makeup counters...

after having many trials with 'professional wedding makup artists'...I went to the Stila counter (the makeup I mostly wear) and it was exactly what I was looking for.

How about your local salon? When my sis got married, we got hair and makup at the local salon we've been going to for years and they did an amazing job!

Have you tried Michelle Nocella My friend is doing my make up (read as FREE ) but Michelle does a great job. Sasha (SomethingBlu) used her Pics are here

I recommend Denise-Angel Eyes. I have pics in my review on the review board. I wanted something natural but not too natural so that it wasnt noticeable in person and pics, and that's what Denise did for me. She is very sweet too.

BUT, I too felt that way about the pictures. Not quite YUCK but they didn't look the same. I used my digital which might be why so think about it. From what I have seen I LOVE Mia's work.

I had a similar problem with my wedding gown. It looked gorgeous at the store and took pics with my digital camera and I could not believe how bad it looked. I told my MOH, etc... I was so down about it. We decided to go back and try it again. I think it was just the photos. The dress looked even better the 2nd time. No pics the other time! I bought the dress.

Here's me on my wedding day. Oksana did my makeup, my sister's (in photo) my mom's and grandma's and we were really happy.

I already responded on the '06 board, but I would also try going to a MAC counter if you like their makeup. There are a lot of talented artists, and the trials free, you just need to purchase four items that total $50 or more. At least you get to keep the makeup! LOL

Good luck, I know it's frustrating, I had 4 trials and since I do my own makeup, it was hard to find someone who did it the way I wanted.

fm me.... i will scan my pics that I took from yesterda with my makeup artist. She was really nice and i think she did exactly what I wanted. I wanted a very natural look and that is what she did. She does airbrushing or regular foundation. She uses mostly mac stuff and I really loved it. Her name is Kristen in Bellmore. FM me so that I respond tonight.
