RP: i'm planning dh's 40th bday party... what do you think of this??
dh's 40th bday won't be for a bit, but i really want it to be special.
i am only in the 'thinking' phase, so please be honest about my ideas. i obviously have time to change things.
dh is a BIG beatles and john lennon fan!!! i was thinking of renting the venue where we got married and having a '60's/beatles' party. i can tell everyone to dress in '60's' clothes. i know of a beatles cover/tribute band (during their breaks, i can have them play other 60's music)
what do you ladies think? is this cool or lame??

I really like that idea! you can totally find all sorts of stuff to decorate with and you have plenty to pick from musically

Wow! that's a great idea, I wanted to throw something special for my fh 30th, he loves the beatles too. Although I won't be able to to all that... that is such a good idea!

wow... that's quite an undertaking after just having planned a wedding! But, it sounds GREAT!!!! Go for it! When's my invite coming? lol. I really think he'll love it! Will it be a surprise?
