RP: Invitation Crisis!! What would you do??

After months of debating over invitations, FH and I decided to design it ourselves and have it printed in letterpress (indented in the paper). FH wanted to use a printer that is an associate of his sister's, and I wanted to use an arms-length vendor who I have heard wonderful things about. The price difference was minimal. I went against my better judgement and let FH have his way (they have to win sometimes.) Well, needless to say, they were not printed correctly!!! They were done in offset printing (flat)!! I know it is not the end of the world, but I was miserable when I saw them

The big question is, do I spend the extra $ and have them printed again by the reputable printer?? What would you do if you were so unhappy with your invitations??

I wouldn't reprint them

invitations are just paper that people look at for a moment, and then put away until the wedding day -- and then they may look at them again to get the directions or get your full names for the purposes of writing out a check

there will be a TON of things that you'll want to spend money on that pertain to your actually wedding day. I'd wait and spend my money on those things rather than fussing over invitations when no one really pays attention to them

I would not spend the money to re-do them. I'm sure they look great anyway. Maybe not what you wanted, but still nice.

That stinks but I also agree with the ladies above. I am sure they still look great.
