RP----is anyone planning/throwing....

their own bridal shower? i think that's something that i might have to do...on top of all of the wedding planning...

the reason why I ask it's b/c....my BM's & MOH have no interest whatsoever.... and I was wondering if this has ever been done before....I swear I feel like canceling the BP and not have one.... all I wanna do is get married.. that's all..

I'll wait and see and I might just cancel the BP...

my mother hardly has been to any bridal showers and in greece we dont typically have showers so shes not used to that whole tradition. My MOH is my sister who will be 19 years old and well you know- she can pretty much care less about planning one dont get me wrong shes excited and everything but its something i may have to tackle. Ive been to one bridal shower my whole life so this should be interesting! This is where I THANK my girls at LIW!!! Ill be asking MILLIONS of questions!


Im not exactly throwing my own shower but I am helping out a lot- its still may be a surprise party but getting things together and finding a location may require me to do some researching!

I will be throwing my own showers (one in LI one in NJ) as well as planning the jack and jill bp...
i really want things to be the way i want (not in a bridezilla way but in a laid back bbq and chips way for the bridal showers.. coed too)
Ok it might come off bridezillaish but its just easier that way b/c theres so many diff groups of people invovled I want to make sure evreyone personally feels comfy and welcome with plans

If your BMs and MOH don't have any interest just make the plans yourself, get them to chip in the money and have a great party. Don't sweat it, do your thing and enjoy yourself. You only get to do this once so don't harp on what isn't going right, make it right for yourself.

let me say that there's only 1 bm that i like/love as a person.. the rest can kiss my a$$..

I'm doing a lot of the planning for my bridal shower (along surprisingly enough with FH). Most of my BMs are OOT except my 15 year old cousin. My mom is throwing it technically but, FH actually was the one who booked it
