OMG- That's crazy! I'm so sorry. Do you have any recourse or are you stuck w/ it?!?!

I know my ins co. just started offering id theft ins...seems like a good idea! Thanks for posting this warning!! I hope everything works out in your favor

Hmmmm, ,maybe I should call our insurance company.....just to see what they offer. I've never heard of that before, but it's worth looking into.......Thank you for that information.

I am in talks with my bank right now and Equifax. I have to figure out what I have to do to fix this! I would LOVE to meet the person who did this to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah - Im sure the bank has an application on file or an IP address if it was opend online. The scary thing is, I have heard of people stealing pre-approved cc mail and opening accounts, then going back to check your mailbox for the card.

My dad got cc denial letters a few years ago for cards he never tried to open. They think someone in his office stole personell info. Luckily he has NEVER had a cc so has NO credit and they denied it. Now he's all- 'I told you so' about NOT having cc's.
