I need ideas for my save the dates. We're sort of using a Mickey and Minnie theme if that helps but I'm not crazy about any of the ones available to order. Any ideas for me!

Do you want to do them yourself? You might not like some of the ones that you have seen, but you can take what you like from some of them and make something you like.
Do you want to do magnets or do you need to send out more information?
I like doing things like this (I am making my own STDs) so if you need anything or want help with something let me know!

what if you guys take a picture with the minnie/mickey ears on so your incorporating it in there or you could just add backgrounds like the castle from teh magic kingdom in the background

I want to try and do them myself. I would rather save the money on these and put it towards nicer invitations or something. I don't even know where to start with doing it myself though.
Where do I look for templates/ pictures/ paper. Can I just print everything off my regular printer? Sorry for all the questions! I'm usually pretty crafty I just don't know where to start!

What kind of ideas do you have? Its petty easy if you are crafty with PHOTOSHOP-Thats how I did mine. If you have an idea I can do a quick tentative mockup for you to give you an idea of what it could look like. Let me know the theme and basic idea-like if you want the horizontal or vertical, font type, etc..

What about finding a pair of mickey mouse ears (like the hat) on google. Blow up a photo from google that size and cut it out to use as a template. Trace the shape on black cardstock. Use a white gel pen or a light printer ink color to write the details. You can also add the Mickey mouse emblem in the center of the hat by cutting it out from other colors of construction paper or cardstock.

I am doing mine on photoshop also. I am using my own printer (which is a photo printer) but you can use any printer, as long as you have the ability to change the settings to print at a higher quality and change the paper type (most printers, if not all, do have this option).
I work with layers. I put each picture or graphic at a different layer, each section of text is another layer. That way you can move everything around and find a layout you like.
