My mom ordered her dress and we went to pick it up and it doesn't even come close to fitting. She has gained no weight, she has health issues and he just doesn't (sometimes I want a dose of that!). But now they are saying that was the biggest size they make. Now my mother is by no means heavy so it makes NO sense. I am thinking it is discontnued and the real size was not available. They said they are 'scrounging around to find a dress'. What should we do? I think demand our money back ($900) and start over!
Also...where else can we go for MOB dresses? Thanks so much!

I see that you're having your reception in Commack so I'm thinking that you live around there.
I would go to Helen's Bridal in Commack. That's where my mom got her dress, as well as my BMs, and all were very happy!!
Sorry this is happening to your mom, this should be an enjoyable time for her too!!

wow i am sorry to hear that .. i would demand my $$ back too ... my mom found a Jovani dress in Macys but then ordered it thru Burtons on Route 110 in Huntington for much cheaper ... good luck .. i hope you get your $$ back ...
