Is there a way to get my period a week earlier than I am now?? I am trying to figure out if there's a way and I know you girls always know everything! I may just have to ask my gyno.

Can't you just not take the placebo pills for a month so you don't get your period the week you don't want it? If you skip the sugar pills or whateve thy are called and start the new pack, you will skip your period for the month....
My gyno told me this was ok since we are technically not ovulating on the pill anyway!

It realy depends on the pill. If you are on a tri cycle pill, meaning 3 levels of hormone you can't do it. I tried it and got horrid break through bleading. I would call your doc before you do anything just to make sure you can do it on your pill. HTH

Just finishing the whole process to ultimately have my period a week earlier so I won't have it for the wedding or honeymoon...under my Dr's advice I didn't take the last 7 pills last month and just started a new pack........now I will get my period a week early. One thing that stinks is for the entire month you will spot, stinks but in the end will be worth it.
BTW, I'm on ortho tri-cyclen lo

Just ask ur gyno. they will be able to tell u when to take the pill so they can change ur cylce.

I've been just hoping that based on my cycle now, I won't have it bc I 'm pretty regular. Hope everything works out. But honestly the best best thing is to consult with your gyno.
