Okay so I was just reading tripadvisor and I saw that you can get a photographer to follow you around Sandals St Lucia for free then you pay for the pictures you want to keep
Now I would feel SUPER cheesy doing this. BUT it WOULD be a nice change from the usual vacation photo album with FH which consists of:
Pretty scenery pretty scenery with FH pretty scenery with me us attempting to take a pic of ourselves and failling, possible getting a nostril in the shot
has anyone heard of this or done this?

haven't heard of it and i understand about feeling cheesy... but when are you going to see any of those people again? and those are pics you will have forever!! i am forever asking people to take a picture of us when we go somewhere. and i hate doing that.

very true..Im going to check out a TA about Sandals this week..I'll ask about it!
Have to admit, might be nice to have our own paparazzi for the day!

That would be nice, and I do understand what you mean about feeling cheesy. I would to, but I might get over it. I love pictures and I feel like there's hardly any of the 2 of us together. Let us know if they really do this.

I went to Sandals, St. Lucia. They have photographers that come around and take pics of you. We bought 3 pics from them. But you'd also be surprised how many other couples will take pics of you if you ask. Chances are, they'll ask you to take one in return for them.
Some of our favorite pics were from bartenders or other random employees taking pics with our camera, or other couples being nice. FM me if you have any questions.

we're not going to a sandals so we won't have this option... but you're right about this. when we went on a cruise, not only the people on the ship - but people from the islands were more than happy to take pictures for us, when we asked. i always feel cheesy asking people to take pictures for us, but when i do - i aim for a couple, because i figure they understand what it's like and maybe they'll want us to take one for them as well. i am always more than happy to take pictures for people.

Yeah, I've heard of it! All Sandals offer this. I'll be using one at the Bahamas resort to get some nice photos of FH and I!

we saw this while we were at the sandals in the bahamas...they do have people who go around taking pics AND you can have someone do like a mini shoot...like and e-pic shoot. it looked really really cheesy...but admittedly, i was jealous. if we'd known it was available, likely we would've done it!

When I went to ClubMed, they had a similar thing. Every day they had a Photographer taking pics of everyone and then every night they posted the pictures so you can purchase them if you wanted to.
It's a cute idea and you can get some great shots.

if i can get over the cheese factor - i think that i would love to have those pictures!
i hate bugging other people to take pictures, but i still do it!! this is just another option. . .
i think that FH and I would crack up though - pretending to run away from the 'paparazzi' or something!
still sounds like a cool option - i am definitely going to check it out!!

We went to Sandals St. Lucia and there are photographers who walk around all day taking pictures. You are not obligated to buy the picture. DH and I went on a party cruise and there was a Sandals photographer on the cruise to take our picture.
