RP: STBDaniRella and her fiance need your prayers SECOND UPDATE
I got a frantic voicemail message from Danielle earlier telling me that her fiance, Vinny, was in a terrible car accident!!! It happened this afternoon on the Northern State Parkway... a guy pushed him off the road, and he slammed into a tree! He blacked out at the scene for a few minutes, and the cops called Danielle to tell her they were taking him to the hospital. They're admitting him tonight... she sounded so worried and upset, of course. I don't know any further news, but please say a prayer for our good friends Vinny and Danielle. She is such a sweetheart... here she is going through this and she's apologizing to ME that she's gonna miss my Bachelorette Party! I can't even imagine what she must be going through...
He needs our prayers, ladies!! The doctors told her that he's gonna be in a lot of pain tomorrow. Let's pray he gets better SOON!!!

UPDATE: Danielle just called... Vinny is doing relatively well for just being in a car accident. The police said they didn't think they were gonna find anyone alive in the car when they got there. One more inch, and it would have been really bad news. Vinny said he remembers the tree in the back seat of his car. Some guy side swiped him, pushed him off the road at full speed, took off and Vinny landed in a tree. Wow. So scary. But Danielle said he had a full body cat scan, which they said was fine. He has fluid around his heart and lung, which they say will go away. They are going to monitor him because of the bad concussion he suffered. He should be able to go home tomorrow afternoon. She feels better that she's there with his and her family. She appreciates all of your prayers and good wishes!
UPDATE #2: First of all, Dani asked me to thank everyone who has called and left voicemails with their concern and support. She promises she will call all of you down when things calm down - and when Vinny is feeling a little bit better. She appreciates all of your thoughts and prayers! Secondly... an update on Vinny. He is swollen ALL over and can barely walk. They want to keep him another night, so it looks like he won't be going home now until TOMORROW. Dani stayed over in his hospital room last night and will be there all day today and tonight. She said, unfortunately, they put him in a room with a 90 year old man with a hacking cough, so a peaceful sleep is a pipe dream! How much does THAT suuck?? She sounds better knowing he is being taken care of, but she's upset that he's going through this, of course. I called her dad to tell him about the accident yesterday, so her parents went to the hospital last night to be with them. What's upsetting is that no one stopped to see if Vinny was alright after the accident! I can't believe it! And the guy that HIT him took off! Peole suuck! But Dani and Vinny REALLY appreciate all your thoughts and prayers. He's still in a lot of pain, so keep praying!
