RP: Very Important: BM dresses

Hey girls. So, my BM dresses finally came in on Thursday. Today I went to see all the dresses - I wasn't going to until one of my BM said I should 'just check them out:' Well, thank God I did.

EACH AND EVERY dress was stained or pulled. They were so dirty, linty and pulled in so many spots. Let's just say that I have 8 dresses, and we went through 70 stickers to identify defects on the dress.

My BM dresses are Watters and Watters, what I thought was a reliable company.

Now, we have to send them all back and ask Watters and Watters to replace them (some are THAT dirty). These are Very expensive dresses and I can't believe that they would send such poor quality to a client.

Mind you - I ordered these dresses through one of their 'exclusive' vendors.....

So, please when you get the call - whether it's your dress, BM dresses or FG dresses, PLEASE go inspect all the dresses.

Sorry for the vent, but I can't believe that EVERY dress was filthy!

oh no.. i ordered Watters dresses too, from their WTOO line.. i hope they come in OK..

hope they are able to replace them in a timely manner

OMG, I would be furious!!! They are rather expensive too, considering they say how 'affordable' they are supposed to be.

in situations like this, I always become suspicious..... whose fault is it? Did the manufacturer REALLY send out a pile of junk? Or did the shop do it?

I hate to say it, but usually, my suspicion resides with the shop. I cannot believe a huge vendor like W&W could stay in business if they regularly deliver cr@p.....

It's really good that you inspected everything!!!!! Could you imagine what would happen if you didn't?

Where did you order the dresses from?

I am still in disbelief. This really *****. I got my dresses from Bridal Couture.

I can't believe Bridal Couture didn't even check the dresses.

Whatever...I just sent Watters and Watters a very 'firm' e-mail....they have no contact number.

from bridal couture? my wedding gown is coming from there. it better not be dirty. no one will want to see my crazy german grandma screaming lol.

WHAT!! That is scandalous!! I know its cutting it closer than you'd like but i'm sure everything will work out!!
