RP/07- RUDE DJ!!! WARNING

Some of you may remember my post asking if this email I received from a DJ was rude-

We spoke on May 1 regarding setting up a meeting to speak about DJ services. I still have not heard from you. You can call me to set up an appointment or kindly respond back via e-mail to let me know you do not need my help any longer. Please work with me here, the longer you wait to book a wedding DJ, the harder it becomes to plan the perfect day.

There were mixed reactions, so I kept my response to him simple:

I did try responding to your 5/1 email asking when you were available to meet. YOU did not respond. So, no I won't be needing your services.

This is what I got in return today:

you did not respond to my e-mail.... I told you to give me a call so we could set something up. How many e-mails do you want to go back and forth with? For god's sake this is your wedding we're talking about. You can't pick up the phone and call a DJ to make an appointment? I'd be embarrassed and ashamed if I were you and I'm sure your wedding will show the effort you've put forth in dealing with the most important vendor!


Now I will be reporting to the BBB and advising all the girls on here not use him

The name is Platinum Plus DJ,,,they are not a vendor on here...but just in case anyone thinks of using them- be warned- this is what their customer service is like.

WOW!! That was a surprising email to receive from a vendor. They should be going out of their way to be nice to you and make every effort to make your day special.

I am very surprised with the unprofessional response.

Where do these vendors get the ball$ to talk to you like that. Word of mouth is soooo important in this business.

Thats unbelievable!

Where does he come off accusing him of not responding. Whatever happened to the customer is always right.

You should report him, thats no way to treat someone.
