RP..HM HELP!!

Can you guys tell me how much how long and where.

We have an amazing opportunity to go on a 2 week trip (one week cruise to jamiaca, cozumel, and grnad caymen and then a week at el dorado royale)

for a VERY big discount. Without airfare and spending money if will be like 4,000 and I am afraid it may be too much. You figure airfare could be like another 1,000 (we would need 2 flights) and then the cruise excursions and drinks and if we want to do anything outisde the resort in mexico.. UGH

I am SO undecided!

ETA the cruise itself would be 2700 PER PERSON if we didnt have all these discounts and stuff WITHOUT airfare. And all wed have to pay for at el dorado royale is the inclusive fee or itd also be a ton more $$$$

its ur honeymoon, splurge. im not a person who usually spends excessive amounts, but our honeymoon for 1 week is almost like 8G, so if u can get 2 weeks for less than that then do it!

personally for me, 2 weeks would be too much for me... can you choose just one of the two options so that it would be cheaper... I think i would rather have some nice furniture for our house with a one week honeymoon then a two week honeymoon...but that's just me and im a giant wierdo when it comes to things like that... i have a problem splurging on certain things...

The thing is my aunt can only get el dorado royale starting from the 16th...

BLAH. I dont want to wait a week...NO WAY

thats stinky... dont worry though... you have plenty of time to make a decision and keep researching honeymoon places... what if you do something less expensive for the first week while waiting to get the el dorado royale deal...

Yea I was thinking that but I couldnt think of anything thad be realitivly cheap between air fare hotels cars etc.

I agree. As of right now we don't want to spend any more than $5000. We would much rather have a house. That's why we are thinking about switching to an all inclusive in Riveria Maya. The airfare and hotel alone for Aruba is costing almost $5000. We have found some really good deals for Riveria Maya all inclusive 4-5 stars for this price. Worst case scenario, have your own private HM in your house for a few days or a hotel and then go away. Just tell everyone you are leaving sooner and it'll be just you and your hubby.

I dunno. I just feel like we are spending $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on five hours and now we are completely skimping on the honeymoon

I literally just hung up on him because he started saying we could go to the florida keys or something....EXCUSE me dude...this is our ONCE IN A LIFE TIME TRIP

I am so upset.

Between the cruise (balcony suite) the resort for after the cruise, and estimated airfare, it will come to a little under $5000. MY FFIL paid the deposit on the cruise and has promised to pay the balance of the rest of the honeymoon.

We have been very fortunate with the resort because they offer close to 50% off for military personnel.
