After sweating my A** off at my final fitting the other day Im considering rush ordering one..
What happens with you sit? Are they cooler than a standard one?

I ordered one and I think it will be great cause it holds the dress off your legs. When you sit the weight of the dress keeps it pretty much down, but it still keeps its form a little. I am pretty sure it will be cooler because nothing is touching your legs.

I love hoop crinoline. 'air circulate' under the skirt so you are not as hot.
The best way to sit is to lift at bit the back of dress with the crinoline as you sit. It will not stay up. The dress is way to heavy and if you do lift the back before sitting you will fine.
You will have to be MORE careful if you do the garter because you have to hold it down or it will be a show for everyone.

how different is it from a regular crinoline? aren't there certain gowns that don't fall right with a hoop? thanks
