Re: RSVP
Knowing me, I'd probably start giving them all a call ~ to try to ensure the B list group. Not sure if it's too late for you to send out for your B list, though.

Re: RSVP
I understand what you mean. THey should know if they're coming or not. Why they can't mail the response back with in 2 weeks of receiving the invite is beyond me.

Re: RSVP
i think we actually made the phone calls before the rsvp date....just to make sure people hadn't forgotten (like my brothe, who SWORE that he sent the card in, and then a week after the rsvp date, found it on his desk ) most of the people who didn't respond were family, so we gavet he lists to our parents and made them call!

I think the whole point of the RSVP is for them to respond BY that date. So technically, if they were considerate, they would have sent it out the moment they received it. Some people think 'oh, well, I have until the ---'... um, just send it when your certain! Mind you, you put stamps on those envelopes, so they should make use of it. Hence, I would call to remind them that I had not received the RSVP, and they still have time to send it to arrive on Wed.

how bizarre!
i'm kinda worried about people not receiving our invitation, it actually happened to one person and our STD's. we met up at a party and started talking about the wedding. he was clearly trying to be polite and not assuming he was invited, and i said 'you DID get the save-the-date didn't you?'...he said 'nope' and put the date in his palm pilot

I know...I'm hoping I don't have the same problem when I send my invitations out. I don't understand how people can put things off like that for so long

Re: RSVP
Our rsvp date is tomorrow and we haven't heard from about 40 people--some of them were people who we didn't expect to hear from, but you would think that they would have sent the card. FH and I are calling some of the people and then we are asking the parents to call there friends and the relatives who we aren't close to.
I'm really frustrated because at first we thought we over invited, but now I'm praying that we make our minimum.
