how far before the wedding should I set my rsvp date?

i think like 3 weeks..i think it also may depend on when you have to give your final count bc you want time to call ppl who dont rsvp

mine is a little over a month, May 20th for June 27th

Ours is set exactly two months before the wedding date but that isn't customary. It's because most of our guests are from the west coast or different countries and because we didn't do a save the date and are mailing our invites early.

Hey, stranger! Mine is set for two weeks before the wedding, but we're sending them out around April 1st because we're moving sometime in late June. Most of our family and friends will have the wherewithall to send them back quickly.

We had Feb 20 for April 3 because we wanted people to realize the wedding was really the end of march and closer than they think and we were afraid we would have to call people who didn't rsvp (which we did) and making seating arrangements is hard...
