FH and I live together. I would like the RSVP cards to be sent to our co-op, instead of my parents house because I want to be able to open them up. However...how would you word that on the RSVP return address? Mr. Fabrizio L.... and Ms. Debra K.... I dont know...it looks funny with different last names. Those of you that are living together...what did you do?

Re: RSVP card question...
My invites were DIY so I was able to address myself for guests on my side and FH's name for guests on his side. Otherwise, for couples that I know living together, I remember seeing the bride's name more often.

Re: RSVP card question...
I'll probably either put both of our names or just the address.
For my e-party invites and thank yous, and for my STD's I've put both of our names.

Re: RSVP card question...
I would just put 1 name on the rsvp... but before you do that, i suggest you check with your parents on this... i thought i would have them sent to my house also, but mom was highly upset with this so i had to change this...

Re: RSVP card question...
Problem is...both of our last names are really long. It would look ridiculous!

Re: RSVP card question...
I had the same situation - we live together and wanted the RSVP cards to come back to our apt. I checked several etiquette guides/sources - they recommend that the bride's name is on the RSVP envelope (omitting the groom). This is also good if you have relatives that do not approve of living together before marriage!

Re: RSVP card question...
Ive always noticed that its in the bride 'sname. Every wedding invitation. And thats what Im doing for mine.
People know from the invitation thats its BOTH of you getting married so why would it matter if his side saw his name or yours? I think just your name is fine.

Re: RSVP card question...
i think the 'etiquette' for this situation is brides name. I wish i would have thought of this, my rsvp's are going to my dads house and i really really wanna stalk the mailbox! i'm gonna be stalking my dad instead!

I did the same thing. I also DIY'd so it was easy for me to do it. But if you're getting them done, just put your name or you can just put both IF you want the names on at all. There's nothing wrong with it either way.

I put my own name with the address.
This is what we did too. 'Traditional' etiquette says that it goes to the bride (not that it really matters, it's what was easier for us lol).
