RSVP Cards

Just wondering if these were totally necessary with the invite. Looking up prices on Wedding Paper Divas (I'll need close to 250 invites!), and the RSVP cards are nearly half the total cost! I am considering just giving people instructions to RSVP by phone or via an online website (like my The Knot webpage), but I bet this will come off as tacky

RSVP Cards

I don't think it will come off as tacky, especially in today's digital age. I've seen a lot of people do RSVPing through websites so I think you can get away with it.

You also could create your own RSVP cards to save some money, you could probably match the font up with your invitation and bring some of the colors in. Just a thought.

At the end of the day, it's your wedding. There is always someone who will have something to say about whatever you choose, so screw it and do what is best for you and your groom =)

Re: RSVP Cards

Another option is to do RSVP postcards. When I calculated invite costs, they were less than RSVP cards/envelope. And you will save on postage too since you can use postcard stamps.

However, I agree that it's your wedding, and you choose what you want and what makes you happy.

Just don't forget about older guests that might not be as computer saavy, so you may want to provide some option for them to mail to you.

Good luck, and don't stress too much! :)
