Re: RSVP Date
5 weeks is plenty. i'm sending them out this week - later in the week, with an RSVP date of 5/1, so mine is about the same time.

Re: RSVP Date
My invites are going out on the 31st and they are coming back on May 12th...So figure that's the right amount of time there.

Re: RSVP Date
I think 5 weeks should be enough time. I'm probably sending them out 6 weeks in advance, not much more than yours.

Re: RSVP Date
Kristi, if you have them the week before I would send them but if you don't it is not the end of the world and they will have plenty of time

Re: RSVP Date
I think 5 weeks is fine, unless you're really eager to send them out. but i think 6 weeks the earliest.

Re: RSVP Date
I sent mine out 9 weeks before the wedding and ppl still didnt rsvp on time. I gave them 6 weeks to rsvp. 4-5 is the usual. As you can see- it didnt matter in my case--lol

Re: RSVP Date
My RSVP date is JUne 1st. I will be sending mine out the last week in April. So that is about 4-5 weeks.

Hey date twin. From what I've been told by our favor place and RH, 5 weeks for a summer wedding isn't enough time. I am sending them out the third week in April and putting a RSVP of 5/31 on it. That gives 6 weeks and a few days to respond, which according to them, is am ample enough time for people to make plans for other summer activities around our date.

Re: RSVP Date
Kristi since mine is a holiday wedding I am sending my invites out about 7 weeks before my RSVP date.
Wedding Dec 20th RSVP date Nov 10th (have about 5 weeks from rsvp date to date i need final headcount in by)
Sending out invites September 22th or the 29th- not sure yet. (either it's 7 weeks in advance or 6) but I think I might do 7!!
So I would say for a summer wedding (with people going on vacations and all) I would do like me haha. About 6-7 weeks in advance because people have vacations they want to schedule or something. GOOD LUCK!

Re: RSVP Date
I think you should send them out a week earlier. 6 weeks is whats suggested. I did 6 weeks and it still wasnt enough time.
