I went with 6 weeks before the wedding. That gave me 2 comfortable weeks to track down non-responders (I got my last 'no' today -- my RSVP date was 6/5). I don't have to give a final # to the RH until 10 days before, but I like having more time than less to plan everything.

I went with the 4 weeks before the wedding. I would hope that people will be able to get me the RSVP's in a month.

wedding is November 7th, RSVP date is October 1...so that is about 5 weeks

Sent mine out today, RSVP date is July 29th. Final head count is due a week before, I will have 3 weeks to track down those who are lazy.

We made it a month and 4 days before the wedding... no real reason, just picked it bc it was a Saturday and a round number.

I'm doing mine for August 31st so i can track those missing RSVP's without any rush and just because im antsy lol.

Ours is 4 weeks before the wedding. Since we don't have to give final numbers until the week prior, this is plenty of time.

I would do 6-8 weeks, probably closer to 8 cause you are going to have to call poeple and that will take time

We did 4 weeks before our wedding date. We are a week away from our RSVP and there are a lot of people who STILL havent send the card back! I dont think it matters whether you do 6 weeks or 4 weeks... because there will be people who still wont send them back... yep now Im bitter lol

It should be 1 month before the wedding. If your wedding is on the 3rd, it should be the 3rd of the prior month. That's what we were told where we bought our invitations. Sometimes people make it a couple days off to make it a certain day of the week too.

We did 6 weeks before. 10/1 for a wedding that is 11/14.
