RSVP date?

I would like to send out my invites the first week of July. Wedding is the first week of Sept - when should the RSVP date be?

you dont want to put too much pressure on yourself down the stretch... worring about RSVP's place/escort cards... etc...

Yeah plus the lazy motherfcukers who won't get it to you in time. Gotta track them down.

I would do August 5th or 1 week after that...but not more than 3 weeks before the wedding. You may need some extra time to track non-RSVP'ers down!

I think normal is 4-5 weeks prior, for the stragglers. I did 6 weeks prior because i had a lot of Out Of Town guests that needed to make reservations and stuff and it is a holiday weekend.
