RSVP date question

RSVP date question

Our wedding is 9/20. We are ordering the invitations this week. What should we put as a RSVP date? We also sent out STD, so most people have been told of the date already. Not our friends and coworkers because we didn't get enough (my FH has a bigger family then he realized). I think we have to pay in full 7 business days prior. Should we make it earlier than 9/1? 8/23 is 4 weeks prior, should we use that date? We should try to mail one month prior to that date? TIA.

we used four weeks. And of course that came and went and we are still missing many. How hard is it to put a stamped envelope in the mail!

I would make the RSVP date aound 8/20. One month before. That is what we did.

We are 9/27 and our RSVP date is 8/30

We did one month and two days....no reason why, it was just arbitrary. I dont think it matters when you do it, as you will definitely have people who dont respond on time!

I think most people do around 4 weeks I did 5!!

I know the hotel booked rate is until 8/20, do you think that would be a good date to set then? Thanks again.

i am giving everyone about 4 weeks to rsvp
I sent my invites out last thurs april 3rd and my rsvp date is may 1st.

I wanted to give myself an extra week to have my final count. Today is one week since they went out, and i have already gotten 17 rsvp cards back.

FH and I have a very early RSVP date. I think it is Sept 15 for a Nov 1 wedding. We are paying for it ourselves and we both have huge families. So we have a B list. The ppl on the B list know that they are on it tho.
