wedding is 09/23...think 07/01 is too soon? figured it would give those time to get it in if theyre late or lose it, etc...what do u think is a good date? thanks!

I think 7/1 would be way too soon. Some people may not know if they will be able to make it or not, or people may RSVP yes but then find out they can't make it. I would make the RSVP date for 4-6 weeks prior.

Usually invites are sent out 2 months before with an RSVP date of 1 month before.

Thats really early. Our RSVP is April 17 for May 28 wedding. You are suggesting almost 3 months before RSVP - when are you planning on mailing them?? Thats way too early IMO.

That's way too early! Stick to 4-6 weeks prior. I'd say August 15 at the earliest.

My invites were sent out mid jan. RSVP of march 8th. ( 1 month b4 the wedding)

Definitely too soon. No earlier than August 9 - which puts the date at exactly 6 weeks before.
